Mia Corvere begins her journey down the dark path of revenge as she seeks retribution from the men responsible for the death of her father. Upon arriving at the backwater pub where Mercurio advised Mia to present her tithe, Mia finds a dead end, until a handsome stranger also in search of the Red Church, enters and the two strike an unlikely alliance.
